In order to make the world more humanistic, Dr Daisaku Ikeda, President Soka Gakkai International (with over 12 million members in 192 countries) annually presents a peace proposal to the United Nations, outlining a broad framework for creating a more harmonious and peaceful world.
Now, Bharat Soka Gakkai ( the Indian affiliate of the SGI) in collaboration with Tata Institute of Social Sciences, is organizing a peace symposium where eminent speakers will be sharing powerful insights on Dr Daisaku Ikeda's proposal. This year’s theme for the Peace Symposium is --Towards Building and Era of Human Rights: Building a people's movement.
The eminent speakers who will discuss the main points of the proposal are – Rishabh Shah- Founder II-MUN, Aarti Wig- Co-Founder & Director Yunus Social Business India, Justice Roshan Dalvi- High Court Judge ( Retd.) and Ishaat Hussain- Former Executive Director Tata Sons.
The symposium will be held on August 24, in Mumbai.
