The highly anticipated fifth edition of the Times Women’s Drive (TWD) – North Chapter, organised by one of the leading media conglomerates, The Times of India is back. Kicking off on 21 December, 2024 - the route this year was from New Delhi’s busiest and most popular market – Chandni Chowk and will culminate at Chandigarh in the evening with an awards ceremony.
Smriti Irani, Former Cabinet Minister and politician, flagged off the event along with Praveen Khandelwal, Minister of Parliament.
This year’s drive featured 65 cars and 150 women of various ages, each raising awareness for important social causes. From menopause and elder care to blood donation for Thalassemia, the teams championed a wide range of issues, which was inspiring.

The TWD is conducted in the Time, Speed and Distance (TSD) format.
