Popular Bollywood singer Arijit Singh who was all set to perform on 22nd February at Dwarka was cancelled at the last minute.
The concert which had generated a massive response, given the blitzkrieg of promotions, especially across digital platforms, was cancelled at the last minute leaving many fans heartbroken.
Highly placed sources told BW Applause and everythingexperiential.com that the organisers were taken by surprise when they came to know that the singer could not perform owing to health issues.
“Even the organisers were taken aback. They came to know about Arijit’s bad health just two days before the event. It was a very stressful situation but eventually, it was handled well. The concert has now been postponed to March 2020”, stated a source who was working closely with the concert.
Singh began his career when he participated in the contemporary reality show, Fame Gurukul in 2005, and was discovered by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Kumar Taurani.
