Victor Tango executed the grand finale of Litkids Open Mic Season 1

LITKIDS Open Mic Season 1 concluded on the 15th August 2020 with a thrilling LIVE finale on the LITKIDS YouTube channel www.youtube.com/litkidsindia, garnering over 50,000 live views and 10000+ new subscribers! The event was successful in creating a huge buzz amongst schools and on social media with viewers supporting their favorite contestants. Season 1 of the contest received entries from 25 cities across the country.

LITKIDS Open Mic is one of the largest virtual talent hunts for kids with multiple disciplines that include speaking, acting, poetry slam, storytelling, singing, instrumental, rap, book review and more. Season 2 is open for entries now.

The solicitation process of the contest that ran through the months of April – June 2020, witnessed a direct reach to over 3000 schools across the country and an effective targeted social media engagement with the aim to create awareness about the contest. Top 32 kids across 5 categories were shortlisted for the live finale.

The live finale of LITKIDS Open Mic was judged by an esteemed panel of judges that included – Mr. Neeraj Gaba – Fashion and Style consultant, phygital motivational speaker; Ms. Lipi Goyal Anchor, Actor & Soft skills trainer; Mr. Rajneesh Jaiswal – Founder of Grace Acting School; Mr. KG Ramnarayan – Co founder Wobble Creative & Content, Producer Times of Music, Singer & Percussionist, Ms. Archana Deshmukh – Actress, Director, Writer & Producer, Mr. Harry Parmar – Casting Director at Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company & Ms. Tabassum Modi – Director Victor Tango & Founder – LITKIDS.

Talking about the contest and the quality of the contestants judge Neeraj Gaba said, ‘It was wonderful to experience the zeal of the participating kids coming through the screen! From concept of the stories, their expressions, voice modulation, confidence, command on language et all, it all came through seamlessly. I was excited to see how they managed to forge a connection with their digital audiences so fabulously’.

Anjali Anand, a parent of a finalist said ‘I have always believed learning should not to be limited to academics alone, it should encompass the various spheres of life and LITKIDS has done just that! I would like to congratulate the entire LITKIDS team for hosting a successful event which has helped our children come into the limelight on a national forum from the safety of our homes’.

The audience response to the finale continued flowing in form of votes even 72 hours after the Live show. All winners and finalists not just get their gratification but will also get real life opportunities to perform at various prestigious public platforms.
