FCB India Dominates Direct & Design Abby, Leo Burnett Bags Direct Specialist Agency of the Year

The second day of Goafest 2024 witnessed a stellar showcase of creativity as the Abby One Show Awards for Design and Direct were revealed.

In total, seven Design Abbys and 14 Direct Abbys were awarded, celebrating the best of the best across various agencies and campaigns.

Leading the charge was Leo Burnett India, emerging as the Direct Specialist Agency of the Year. The agency's win was further bolstered by their haul of two silver and three bronze metals along with two merits.

“In perhaps the most transformational era our world has seen, it is amazing that Leo Burnett has won across multiple categories that are at the vanguard of transforming business of creativity”, said Amitesh Rao, CEO Leo Burnett South Asia.


On the other hand, the Grand Prix for the 'Untangling The Politics Of Hair' campaign for STIR - Design Magazine went to FCB Group India. The agency's performance extended to the Direct category where they secured one silver metal and two merits, adding to their wins.

FCB Group India's dominance was further cemented by bagging the Design Specialist Agency of the Year award as well. They also walked away with two bronze metals and two merits in the same category.

Among the winners in the Design Abby category were Brave winning one silver metal and three merits; Creativeland Asia and EBBXFLO - each took home one silver and Famous Innovations, securing one silver and one merit. Tribes Communication also made its mark with one bronze metal, while AutumnWinter Communications and Design received two merits.

Other agencies that received recognition in the Design Abby category included Fundamental, Havas Worldwide India, Stark Communications, The Dallas Company, The Hindu Group, YouTube Creative Studio APAC and VML India, each receiving one merit.

In the Direct Abby category, Star India emerged victorious with one gold for Disney Star Network's campaign 'Words of Pride'. Hardcastle Restaurants, tgthr and VML India each bagged one silver metal while redBus and ^atom network took home one bronze each.

Krafton India's won one bronze and one merit while Famous Innovations added two merits to their tally. Havas Worldwide India, Interactive Avenues, Schbang and White Rivers Media each received one merit.
