Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's engagement party, held at the Ambani residence Antilia on June 30, turned out to be quite a happening affair.
The party saw some of the biggest Indian celebrities, including sportsmen and politicians, revelling under one roof.

Guest List
The who’s who of Bollywood, corporate world and politics attended Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement held at Ambani residence Antilia on Saturday.Aishwarya Rai, Kajol, VidyaBalan, Ranbir Kapoor, Dish Patani, Tiger Shroff, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Harbajan Singh,Ratan Tata, Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray were among the celebrities in attendance at the party.
Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s son Akash proposed to his longtime girlfriend and childhood friend Shloka in March. Shloka is the daughter of Russell Mehta, who heads Rosy Blue Diamonds, one of the country’s leading diamond companies. Shloka is currently a director with Rosy Blue Foundation and is a co-founder of ConnectFor.
Wedding Planners
The event was coordinated and managed by luxury wedding planner Seven Steps Weddings that have a reputation for organising some of the biggest weddings in the country.
Décor and Florals
Karen Tran, a high profile floral designer from California, had been roped in for decorating the venue. Exotic blooms were also being flown in for the event. The venue looked graceful with pink florals descending from the ceiling that added a sense of glamour to the occasion.
Delicacies at the party
Guests at the engagement party were treated to sumptuous delicacies. Parisian bakery Laduree whipped up some delicious desserts for all.
Nita Ambani’s Dance Performance
As the guests filled up the seats, musicians, actors and even the Ambani women entertained the audience with their respective performances. Nita Ambani’s performance was followed by a rope-dance stunt on Iktara. The decorations and constantly-changing backdrop of the stage was at par with any leading Bollywood award show.
The big Ambani bash was hosted by Shahrukh Khan. Guests arriving at the party were made to sit according to a specific seating plan that had politicians right at the front with Bollywood stars seated behind them. Amit Trivedi sang Aaj Se Teri and dedicated the song to the newly-engaged couple. Kailash Kher, on the other hand, belted out his popular numbers Teri Deewani and Allah ke Bande.
