Percept S&E bags marketing & promotion mandate for Uttarakhand tourism

Percept Sports & Entertainment, the Strategic Business Unit of Percept One, has bagged the brand activation &promotions mandate for Uttarakhand Tourism. The mandate is for a period of 2 years commencing June 2015. Percept Sports & Entertainment will be responsible for conceptualizing, supervising and executing all the events for marketing and promoting Uttarakhand Tourism. Uttarakhand Tourism had recently called for a multi agency pitch with an aim to up the ante to scale up consumer awareness, interest and desire to visit the Uttarakhand region as a prominent tourism destination. Percept Sports & Entertainment was awarded the mandate to scale up the branding and positioning of destination Uttarakhand on the Tourism map of India with an objective to make the region synonymous with world class tourism destinations. Percept Sports & Entertainment’s 360-degree scope of work will encompass conceptualizing the complete event design, managing and executing all promotional activities dedicated to promoting Uttarakhand Tourism viz. handling traditional and digital media, outdoor media, venue construct and management, Celebrity engagement, Public Relations, VIP Guests and Media management, and overall logistics for a seamless production. The agency will source active participation of the private sector and local host communities to further expand reach and awareness. Airtel rolls out 4G trials exclusively for its customers in Delhi NCR

Bharti Airtel Limited (“Bharti Airtel”), a global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, yesterday launched 4G trials exclusively for its customers in Delhi NCR. Airtel’s 4G services in the National Capital Region are the first in India to leverage an integrated FD and TD network which promises to deliver the fastest 4G experience and superior network coverage. Airtel 4G enables superfast internet speeds and allow customers to enjoy capabilities like high definition video streaming with zero buffering, downloading 10 movies in less than 30 minutes, uploading entire photo albums in less than five minutes (i.e. uploading two high resolution photos per second), connecting multiple devices without compromising on the experience, etc. As part of the trial offer, Airtel customers across Delhi NCR can now avail a complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at 3G prices and experience blazing Airtel 4G speeds. The company will assimilate valuable customer feedback from these early adopters and leverage the initial market response towards strengthening its service experience – thus building a world-class 4G network infrastructure for the city. Samsung has recently also launched its all new Core Prime 4G mobile smartphone in Airtel 4G markets. In the weeks to come, Samsung will also offer bundled Airtel 4G SIMs alongwith select Samsung 4G handsets in the Indian market. Additionally, Flipkart now offers Airtel 4G with double the data benefits for customers buying select 4G handsets. Flipkart-exclusive 4G devices (including brands like Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo, Asus and Huawei) will come bundled with an Airtel 4G SIM. While existing Airtel customers will be able to follow a quick SMS registration process to activate 4G, non-Airtel customers buying their 4G device from Flipkart will be guided through a simple process to smoothly transition to the Airtel 4G network.
