Once Again Odisha’s Streets Are Ready To Thrill With Food, Music & Art Festivals

From January 15 to January 29, the festivals will flood the streets of Odisha with food, entertainment, stories and trails. As the city prepares to host the FIH Men's World Cup Hockey'23, this year. FEST attempts to get bigger & better offering the people of Odisha an experience unlike any other. Every attendee will find something to enjoy during the 15-day festival. 

Prior to the formal festival, trails will be conducted focusing on heritage, wildlife, and the thousand-year-old temples & caves. With the enthusiasm for multicultural activities and celebrations, the festival will feature a wide range of entertainment, stories or trails, performances from some famous Bollywood celebrities, musicians and singers, culinary delights, and other programmes and activities.

BhuFeSto- Bhubaneswar Festival of Storytelling (BhuFesSto) specifically curated for the children along with elderly to keep alive the great saga of local literature, poetry & stories. Witness the amazing stories, folklore by globally acclaimed storytellers. It will be held from 14th January to 17th January 2023 at these locations IG park, Buddha Jayanti Park, APJ Abdul kalam Park, and Kala Bhoomi. It will start at 2:30 PM and continue to 7:30 PM on all four days. 


Entertainment- The thrill of seeing some of the maestros perform live in one's own city and the adrenaline rush are not common occurrences in the OTT era. FEST will have a slew of celebrities making appearances like Bollywood divas Disha Patani and Divya Kumar.

The event includes a variety of surprises, including captivating performances by the top singers like Guru Randhawa, Harshdeep Kaur, Neeti Mohan, and Amit Trivedi, who will present enchanting contemporary, classical and Sufi night performances. Renowned dance choreographers like Shiamak Davar and Salman Yousuf would also be taking the stage by storm. The audiences would also get to witness a laughter riot with stand-up comedians Sunil Grover and Shilpa Rao followed with a retro night by popular 90’s singers Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Sukhwinder Singh. A fusion fiesta by Siddhart Mahadevan, Shivam Mhadevan, and ShrinMahadevanld also keeps the audience swaying through the starry night. It will be held from 15th January to 24th January 2023 at IDCO exhibition grounds. The event timings are 7 pm to 10 pm. 

International Food Festival- Food is one thing that unites all facets of society! Enjoy delicious Odia Street food, desserts, and temple cuisine while also savouring the cuisine of more than 16 other countries. It will be held from 15th January to 29th January 2023 between 6 pm to 12 am at IDCO exhibition grounds. 


Photo exhibition, Ebbe au Sebbe- Ebbe Au Sebbe, a photo exhibition that will highlight the illustrious urban/city heritage of Bhubaneswar, one of the first planned cities in independent India, is another distinctive event that has been creatively constructed. Intended to instil a sense of pride & ownership among the locals. It will start on 15th January and will continue to 29th January 2023 between 10 am to 7 pm at IDCO exhibition grounds. 

Night Bazaar & Flea Market- The Night Bazaar/Flea Market, which will brighten up Bhubaneswar's winter nights and provide a remarkable stage for regional artists, startups, performers, makers, and creators, will be one of the unique experiences for participants this year.
