Jagran Solutions manages 1st Red Bull Catch Up National Champion, a go karting tournament for women

Jagran Solutions (A Unit of Jagran Prakashan Ltd. Planned
and executed pre-promotion for generating participation, all the qualifying
rounds  and finale event for Red Bull
Catch Up National Championship at SMAAASH SkyKarting.

The significance of the tournament was enhanced by the the
participation of Mira Erda, India’s first female driver to compete in one of
the highest classes of Formula Racing. Every group qualifier comprised of Mira
starting last and overtaking the participants until the finish line. The
participant to reach the finish line first, before Mira could overtake her, was
declared the winner.

The qualifying rounds took place between 6th February and 3rd
March 2018 in Mumbai and Gurgaon and witnessed a total participation of more
than 600 amateur female racers. The national finals saw the top 10 time setters
from each city competed for the title. They were then broken up into four
groups of five, with the top four winners from each race competed in the final
race.

Talking about the National Finals of Red Bull Catch Up, Mira
Erda said, “I am extremely elated to be associated with Red Bull who has always
encouraged aspiring female motorsport enthusiasts through tournaments like Red
Bull Kart Fight and Red Bull Catch Up. Today will always be special for me as I
shared the track with ambitious women racers from around the country.”

Red Bull Catch Up aims to provide female amateur racers and
racing enthusiasts the chance to experience the pro side of karting and get a
competitive but fun outing at the track. It’s a karting tournament designed to
find the fastest female amateur kart racer in India.

Red Bull Catch Up National Finals Results:

1st Place – Anjali Anto - 37.338 (best lap time)

2nd Place – Aman Jubbal – 38.399 (best lap time)

Finalists – Anjali Anto (Delhi), Aman Jubbal (Delhi), Siri Reddy
(Delhi) & Malvika Tibrewala (Mumbai)

In a conversation about this grand event, Pawan Bansal,
