India’s Food Delivery Future Discussed At NRAI Summit 2025

The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) concluded the fourth edition of its Food Delivery Summit at Le Meridien, New Delhi. The event convened more than 2,000 participants from across the country’s food delivery and hospitality sectors, offering a platform for discussion around evolving consumer trends, operational models and the future of food delivery in India.
The summit commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by Bansuri Swaraj, Member of Parliament. Shehzad Poonawalla, National Spokesperson, Bharatiya Janata Party, also attended the event as a guest of honour, reflecting the growing engagement between policymakers and stakeholders in the food service and delivery industry.
In his opening remarks, Sagar Daryani, President, NRAI, stated, “The Indian food delivery landscape is undergoing a massive transformation, driven by shifting consumer behaviour and rapid technological adoption. The NRAI Food Delivery Summit is an important platform for aligning all stakeholders, from restaurateurs to tech enablers, around a common vision.”
The summit hosted a series of discussions focused on innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth in India’s food delivery sector. Highlights included the launch of Coca Cola Foodmarks 2.0, as well as panels on technology integration, profit margins, quick commerce, and last-mile delivery challenges. Sessions also explored alternative business models, marketing strategies, and influencer engagement, with contributions from industry voices such as Mister Tikku, Siddharth Jogani, and Raghav Joshi.

The summit, which facilitated dialogue across the food delivery value chain, brought together leading figures from the restaurant industry, cloud kitchens, aggregators, logistics providers, and tech innovators. Discussions centred on shifting consumer behaviour, the growing emphasis on operational efficiency, and the pressing need to develop more sustainable and resilient delivery models in an increasingly competitive market.
