19th Foundation Day Of Delhi Hurricanes Rugby Football Club Hosted In Vasant Kunj

19th Foundation Day was celebrated with a great enthusiasm by passionate Delhi Hurricanes family. Great crowed, they even participated in few events of fun games where hundreds of children played many games. Whole event was live on Youtube and it was a sincere and selfless efforts from Mr. Gulshan, Mr. Ravin Kundu and none other than Mr. Rohit Chettri who organized everything in this event and made it huge success.

The main attraction of the event were Boys and girls matches where many junior players were given the chance to play before a big gathering who cheered them throughout the matches.  Hon’ble member of Parliament, Sh. Ramesh Vidhuri ji was introduced to all the players before the match.  He addressed the players and spectators and made few positive announcements for the players in a great speech.

Krishna and Youhei were declared players of the match.

A facilitation ceremony was held right after the match.  Hurricanes facilitated all their partner institutes Arth Foundation, Nai Disha, School of Happiness & Sarayu Foundation and Schools Modern School, Frank Anthony Public School, Universal Internationl, K.G.Sr Secondary School & 8 Goverment Schools.  Prizes for Winners of fun games were distributed by Dr. Deepti Joshi. Former coaches, players, partners sent their wishes through videos which were played on the screen live before the crowd.  A video of the final match of 2017 All India National tournament which changed everything after that in Delhi Hurricanes Rugby was also screened which was seen by the public holding their breath and Club’s President Arun Dagar narrated the story very well.
