Zee Classic creates 230 ft mural of Amitabh Bachchan for his 75th birthday
Amitabh Bachchan has acknowledged the image with a witty tweet!
Taking to Twitter upon laying his eyes on the mural, Amitabh Bachchan posted pictures of the artwork along with the message “T 2697 - They build a 'DEEWAR' on a deewar .. in Bandra, Mumbai ..!!”
While Amitabh Bachchan is rejoicing in the moment, his fans have joined in this celebration too. The excitement among fans is visible as the tweet as well as Facebook post has been shared over 1,200 times each and liked over 18,000 times. The facebook post has a 73,000 reactions. And, the numbers continue to increase with every passing minute. Amitabh Bachchan’s mural is a tribute to him and his fan following who have, over the past one month, celebrated his 75th birthday with much fanfare. Together with artist Ranjit Dahiya from Bollywood Art Project, Zee Classic recreated Amitabh Bachchan’s signature angry young man avatar from Deewar and titled it ‘Bachchan Bemisaal Poore 75 Saal’. The mural, which is now fully complete, and stands at Mumbai’s Bandra Reclamation.
