Wizcraft's Sabbas Joseph, Punam Joseph, Niyati Vora & Nishith Bhandarkar Honoured By CM Eknath Shinde

Wizcraft's Sabbas Joseph, Punam Joseph, Niyati Vora and Nishith Bhandarkar were honoured at The Friends of Mumbai Awards for “Bringing People Together” through the Mumbai Festival 2024. They received the honour on behalf of Wizcraft Group from the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Eknath Shinde and Karthikeya Sharma, Member of Parliament.
The felicitation was also presented to Jayashree Bhoj, Secretary of Tourism, the Department of Tourism and Anand Mahindra- Chairman, Mumbai Festival Advisory Committee.
The Friends of Mumbai Awards were organised by the NewsX and IndiaNews Channels marking the launch of the Sunday Guardian Mumbai edition.
The Mumbai Festival, which was held from 20 - 28 January, 2024, was one of the biggest cultural phenomenas Mumbai witnessed. The inaugural edition of this annual event, promoted by the Department of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra, was aimed at boosting tourism and establishing Mumbai as an evergreen tourist destination. The nine days featured cultural festivals, music, dance and cinema events, and food festivals to bring communities together.
Maharashtra Tourism ingeniously consolidated various events under the expansive canopy of the Mumbai Festival. Ending on 28 January, it encompassed an array of activities including the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (KGAF), Happy Streets, Windmill Festival, Yoga by the Bay, Kashish Chalchitra Utsav, Lollapalooza Music Festival, Tata Mumbai Marathon, and Aarogyam Kidzathon.
In addition to these, Mumbai Festival featured music concerts and beachside activities. Concurrently, major events like the Maha Mumbai Expo and Tourism Conclave took place, alongside a shopping fest and a dedicated cricket zone. The initiative, led by Anand Mahindra, aimed to amalgamate all the unique offerings of the city into this singular, grand festival.
