Put together by Event Capital and TM Talent Management,‘Bollywood Music Project’ has been conceptualized as a 2-day music festival in collaboration with 30 Bollywood music icons to create an experience that is quintessentially Bollywood. The multi-genre, multi-stage festival will be held on Sept 30-Oct 1 in Mumbai.
Giving a peek into the upcoming Bollywood Music Project, Swaroop Banerjee, CEO, Event Capital said, “The Bollywood Music Project is a joint initiative by TM Talent Management and Event Capital. Since, Bollywood doesn’t have a music festival of its own - that’s how the idea came in. We have numerous Bollywood artists doing solo Global Tours like Arijit Singh and AR Rahman, but we don't have a festival, which represents these legends on a common platform. The reason it's named Bollywood Music Project is because it's going to be bigger and better in the future. Mumbai will be the host city forever, but in the later years, we will take the format globally, especially to the Middle East."
Tarsame Mittal, Founder, TM Talent Management shared, "Over a billion people across the globe listen to Bollywood music, but there has been never a solely Bollywood music festival. And, therefore, the thought of bringing them under one big canopy by staging 30 Bollywood musical icons across 3 stages with assorted genres of music for two consecutive days, which will witness a huge number of happy people and amazing music."
Adding to this, Swaroop said, “The 2 days are going to be epic; you will see the music legends doing experimental stuff; there will be a stage with an alternative music, another will have experimental music and the main stage will present commercial music."
The line-up will be announced soon which will be a mix of established and emerging talents from across the Indian music arena.
