TiE Delhi-NCR to host the 3rd Edition of TiE Global Summit

Further cementing its mission to nurture entrepreneurship in India, TiE Global and TiE Delhi-NCR are hosting the 3rd edition of TiE Global Summit 2018 in Delhi. One of TiE’s marquee events, the Summit will be held on 29th and 30th November, 2018 at Taj Palace, New Delhi. This year the summit will dwell on Entrepreneurship: Driving Employment, Driving Growth as the theme. The summit will witness participation of 61 chapters of TiE from across the globe.

 Several industry doyens are backing the TiE Global Summit. US-based organizations, The Lemelson Foundation and Motwani Jadeja Foundation are the Platinum Partners for the event. Google is the Ecosystem Enabler and the event is supported by Startup India. Other partners for the event include Flipkart, Indian Angel Network Fund, Kalaari Capital PayU, among others.

 TiE wil host ‘Investor Lounges’, for startups to get one-on-one time with investors. Five finalists of TiE Delhi-NCR’s televised live funding show ‘TiE the Knot’ will pitch to angel investors at TiE Global Summit. Apart from this, startup pitches for entrepreneurs in five categories- Angel, Seed, Series A, Incubators and Social Entrepreneurship will be conducted during the two-day summit. A reverse pitch session, ‘Meet the Investors’ is also lined up.

 Shashi Jain, Innovation Manager at Intel and TYE Global Education Director will conduct a workshop “Idea lab” for students. Students can register for the summit at a discounted rate.

 To encourage participation of women entrepreneurs, TiE is offering them 50% off on passes. A dedicated session for women entrepreneurs will feature Manisha Girotra, CEO, Moelis & Company as the keynote. This will be followed by the ‘How To’ workshop led by Manisha and other industry leaders to address key topics like how to become board members, how to select board members, how to network and how to raise funds.

 TiE Global Summit will also felicitate leading entrepreneurs and startups through several award ceremonies including QGlue Design-led Entrepreneurship Awards, Spirit of Manufacturing Awards and TiE-Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards.
