As this was their annual celebration NICE wanted to give their employees a fun and entertaining night with a hint of glamour. They also wanted something special where the senior management of the company could participate.
Livewire designed this year’s event Groove 2017 as their annual celebration keeping the theme “Bollywood Red Carpet” in mind. The event was announced in the office with a flashmob performance which generated buzz and excitement for the event. Other activities also included a selfie and dubsmash competition which was a major hit with the employees. These competitions along with a thematic weekly communication plan created enthusiasm about the event.
The main event day saw a glamorous set up with full-blown Bollywood style fanfare and a grand red carpet complete with paparazzi and a chat zone. The entrance was adorned with movie posters morphed with senior management faces which were a head turner for all the employees. The Liverwire Experience built a Hi-tech stage with panoramic LED screen panels with all the AV content displayed staying true to the theme.
Entertainment for the night began with a Drum Circle act by Taal which charged the audience up for the night. The night also saw various dance performances by internal and external teams which had been practiced over a period of a month with professional choreographers. The performances continued with a special walk of the Snr Management team in various Bollywood avatars with complete costumes and props as well as an internal band performance. The finale act for the night was by the band Chehre which got everyone swaying to Bollywood tunes.
Commenting on the execution of the event Priyanka Roy Kapur- Director of The Livewire Experience said “This event proved to be a challenge in the days just prior to the event with the multiple changes and additions in the format and final flow of the show. With addition of props and costumes just hours prior to the event, our production team managed to tick all requirements and changes till the last minute, making this event a clear success."
