This was the first year VW IT was a hosting an annual celebration for their employees. The brief given by the client was to have a grand celebration for all the employees and their families and ensure a whole lot of team bonding and participation by employees.
Livewire, along with the company, coined the event title “Evolve 2017” and designed the celebrations with grandeur and a theme around ‘Glitterati’. The idea was to make the employees feel like stars and make them feel special and motivated through the entire process of the celebrations. A whole plan was put together, two weeks prior to the event to build enthusiasm and excitement amongst the employees – a selfie booth and dubsmash were some of the activities that stood out. Among other things, the employees were choreographed and mentored with dedicated rehearsal teams for various dance forms and fashion sequence acts to make them shine like stars.
The event saw a glitzy and glamorous set-up with luxury Cars on display – all showcased to add to the glamour quotient and experience for the guests – namely VW Tiguan, Porsche Panamera and Audi R8. The guests entered through a starry walkway with a chat zone which resonated very well with the theme of ‘Glitterati’. The event also saw some fun games and activities such as a foosball table, inflatable dart game, chroma photo booth and a nail art stall to keep the kids entertained.
The adrenaline driven night of undiluted fun and celebrations entailed spell-binding special effects and high impact intelligent lighting on a grand 70 ft stage. The night also saw enthralling dance performances by employees interspersed with emcee interactions. VW IT also inaugurated their annual newsletter with a special speech by the MD of the company Sidharth Yadav. The night ended on a high note with a musical performance by Indian Idol finalist Jyotsna Navandar followed by some dance worthy tunes played by DJ Harneet.
Commenting on the success of the event Raghav Roy Kapur – Founder Director of The Livewire Experience said “ We were given 2 weeks to put the entire event together right from ideation, concept, designs to choreography and execution and everything was managed flawlessly. Adding to the high moments was a Post Event Newspaper insert that went out to all the employees the next day in office, much like a starry Page 3 where the key highlights of the event were captured and all the employees were made to looks like stars. This was highly appreciated by the client and ended the event on a high note.”
