Showcase Studio: Bridging the gap between the artists, their art forms and the audience: Nanni Singh & Noor Anand Chawla

Six months into the pandemic, our lives may have changed but our interests remain the same. How then should we indulge in our hobbies and activities of leisure? We do it online.

ShowCase Events creates, curates and executes experiences. With the pandemic changing our lives indelibly, the company has taken it upon itself to create special moments, digitally and virtually, so people’s interests and pastimes do not suffer. ShowCase has expertise in organising conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches or any kind of digital engagement activity, seamlessly in the virtual space. Their cutting-edge technological models ensure that each virtual event is unique and offers spectators a chance to feel they are viewing it in reality. Apart from organising events online, another forte of the company’s digital wing is the production of AV’s and short films.

ShowCase Studio, the latest addition to the wide repertoire of services offered by ShowCase Events, is an attempt to bridge the growing gap between the audience and the artists. This one-of-a-kind talk show brings the candid honesty of artistes across genres, to the living rooms of the audience, every Sunday at 6.30 pm to 7.15pm.

From music to theatre, stand-up comedy to fashion, the varied subjects appeal to a wide range of viewers. Each episode is hosted by a renowned journalist or an expert in the particular field, leading to a thought-provoking discussion with the guest of the day. The riveting conversation is supplemented by impromptu performances by the artistes- a live treat hard to come by these days!

The first season of ShowCase Studio began with the legendary maestro of Nagaras, Nathulal Solanki in conversation with eminent music journalist Narendra Kusnur, who has a talent for steering meaningful musical conversations. Sonam Kalra, the award-winning singer, composer and founder of The Sufi Gospel Project, was the guest of the second episode. Both shows were highly appreciated by viewers, through numerous messages of appreciation and applause.

This Sunday i.e. the 27th of September, ShowCase Studio has invited Sunita Bhuyan, award-winning Indo-fusion violinist and vocalist to share her musical journey with one of the most versatile instruments, the Violin. This live discussion will offer a glimpse into her artistic mind while presenting the audience with insight into the unique ways people are impacted by her powerful music. The viewers will be treated to a live performance amidst enlightening conversation. Perhaps the only catch is that you have to attend the show live, as no recording will be available later. Exactly the way it used to be pre-pandemic!

ShowCase Studio’s episode ‘Sunita Bhuyan in conversation with Narendra Kusnur’ will take place on Sunday, the 27th of September from 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. Tickets are available online at Townscript.
