Shailendra Singh’s Cinematic Legacy Celebrated By Hollywood And Bollywood Icons At IFFI 2023
In a star-studded affair at IFFI 2023 in Goa, the global and Indian film industry gathered to honor Shailendra Singh, the National Award-winning Creative Producer, Writer, and Director, for his remarkable 25-year journey in cinema. Hollywood luminaries Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones graced the occasion as guests of honor, with Douglas expressing admiration for his long-time friend during a private bash.
The celebrations continued with a record-breaking keynote Masterclass where Michael Douglas answered questions about potential collaborations with Shailendra on global cinema. The IFFI closing ceremony saw Mr. Douglas receiving the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement award, followed by the felicitation of Shailendra Singh by Goa's Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant, for his significant contributions to Indian cinema.
