Saudi Arabia Set To Host 'InFlavour' A global Event For Food & Hospitality

Saudi Arabia is set to host ‘InFlavour’, the new global food and hospitality mega-event, in Riyadh in October. The event promises to be a Michelin-star-studded menu, featuring celebrity chefs, product and industry trendsetters, and culinary pioneers.

The Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water & Agriculture (MEWA) and Tahaluf, the entity behind the LEAP technology exhibition, will curate this event, slated to be held on October 29-31.

The spokesperson for the MEWA Saleh Bindakhil said Saudi Arabia has the biggest food and beverage market in the area and is fast-tracking its ambitions to become the most important market for food trade and hospitality globally.

He expected the event to boost Saudi Arabia’s food imports and exports, and fast-track new standards in product sourcing options to elevate the hospitality and consumer spheres.
Bindakhil said the food industry in Saudi Arabia is experiencing explosive growth due to significant investments in hotels and resorts, an influx of food and beverage entrepreneurs, and a willingness to develop and adopt the technology.

“All these factors will completely change the food service experience in Saudi Arabia. InFlavour is the epicenter and driving force behind this industry-wide convergence,” he said.

The Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA) has conservatively forecast that the Kingdom’s food service sector will grow six per cent annually over the next five years, while the independent market intelligence provider Fortune Business Insights anticipates the sector to expand by 11.5 per cent annually to be worth $ 30.47 billion by 2029.

InFlavour is a world-leading B2B food event that brings together global mega-brands, emerging food startups and everyone in between.

It offers a diverse platform for industry players with vast collective experience to get together for breakthroughs and partnerships.
