Reconnect Conclave 2023: Networking Space For Alumni, An Initiative By IHM Lucknow

The “Reconnect Conclave 2023” – An Alumni meet of IHM Lucknow organised by its alumni association (ILAA) on 29thApril, 2023 at Ardor 2.1, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The gathering witnessed more than 100 alumni who came together to be the torch bearer for the future hospitality professionals.

The meeting started with the keynote by Mr A. K. Singh, Ex Principal and Mr. R.K. Sharma, Senior Faculty followed by Mr. Pankaj Giroti, President, ILAA & Mr. Rakesh Gupta,Senior Member, ILAA. The meeting aimed at connecting the hospitality professionals together to help building a strong network of industry professionals who care to serve back to the institute, society and hospitality industry in general. IHM Lucknow which is serving the industry since 1980 holds a reputation to be one of the best hospitality Institutes in the country and is committed to keep the expectations in the years to come. Some of the notable alumni who attended the meeting include Virag Joshi, President & CEO, Devyani International Ltd., Sangeeta Ratra, Director – Learning & Development, Le Meridien Hotel, Ved Shukla – Founder & CEO Mylomart & Advisor BW Retail World, Tushar Dhingra, Co-Founder & CEO, Dhishoom Cinemas, Arun Mathur, Executive Chef, Trident Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Anurag Bahl - Aviation Hospitality Professional & Business Evangelist, Dr. Savita Sharma, Associate Dean, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Rajeev Janveja, Corporate Chef at the Lemon Tree Hotel Company and many more.

The meeting concluded with the commitment to grow together and contribute in larger goal of promoting India as a preferred tourist destination by expanding alumni network, supporting each other, guiding future hospitality professionals, building entrepreneurial relationships and serve the hospitality industry in the best possible way. It was indeed a nostalgic moment for all alumni to reconnect with the alma mater and relive the college memories.
