Pet Fed, one of India’s beloved pet festivals, has achieved a grand milestone this year as it celebrates 10 years of spreading joy and bonding between pets and their families. Over the past decade, Pet Fed has transformed into a national sensation, earning a Limca World Record as the biggest pet carnival in India. This year, Pet Fed is set to be even bigger and better, as it returns to its classic format and adds Pune as a brand-new city to its roster of main events.
Pet Fed will be taking the festivities to four major cities across the country, creating a platform for pets and their humans to come together for a memorable celebration of their unique bond. The lineup includes:
● Bengaluru: 23 and 24 November, 2024 at Jayamahal Palace
● Delhi: 14 and 15 December, 2024 at the NSIC Grounds, Okhla
● Pune: 11 and 12 January, 2025 at Mayfield Ivy Garden
● Mumbai: 1 and 2 February, 2025 at Nesco, Goregaon
Pet Fed, which started as an idea by Akshay Gupta, was born out of the need to bridge the gap in events for pets and pet parents in India. Over the years, it has evolved into a 3-acre carnival filled with exciting activities, workshops, 100+ stalls, and endless opportunities to strengthen the bond between humans and pets.
The festival’s USP lies in its scale and variety of experiences for all kinds of pet lovers, from interactive activities like Temptation Alley, fashion shows, and Pet's Got Talent, to special segments like the Police Dog Show, Play Areas, and expert-led masterclasses. New this year, attendees can look forward to the very special Catapalooza, doggy prams, immersive photobooths and a free desi ticket for all indie pets.
Pet Fed also regularly hosts Pupper Parties and Catapaloozas across 10+ cities, offering equally vibrant experiences for local pet communities. These intimate 3-hour events attract around 100-150 pet parents and their furry companions, featuring pet buffets, engaging games, free health checks, and interactive sessions. Highlights include pet-friendly cafes or dog parks, making these gatherings a delightful prelude to the main festival.
A special highlight this year is the return to Pune with a full-fledged event. After the successful Express Edition last year, Pet Fed is back with a grander, more immersive experience for pet parents in the city.
Beyond just entertainment, Pet Fed aims to foster compassion among all attendees—whether they own a pet or not—by giving them a chance to be surrounded by thousands of animals and promoting animal welfare through activities like the Adoption Drive.
The tickets for Bengaluru Pet Fed are already live on the festival’s website and the Live tab of the Zomato app. Tickets for Delhi, Pune and Mumbai will go live in October.
