Over 15K People Attend India Bike Week Special Edition 2021- A Gala Of Drift And Stunts

70 EMG executed the seventh edition of India Bike Week (IBW), billed as Asia’s Motorbike Festival, on 4 and 5 December 2021 in Aamby Valley, Maharashtra.
The ‘special’ edition featured sessions with biking personalities, motorcycle stunt shows and parades by motorcycle clubs. Organisers did not reveal the number of attendees but mentioned that keeping in mind the prevailing Covid19 scenario, the number this year was restricted. The last edition in Goa, in December 2019, saw over 15,000 people in attendance.
IBW 2021 showcased vintage and custom machines, biker goodies on sale, ‘Big Trip’ stories, food, beverages, live track experiences, stunt shows and a live DJ.
Keeping COVID-19 sensitivities and protocols in mind, the number of tickets sold for IBW 2021 was restricted, informed organisers.
On the show were new motorcycles on a dedicated stage, besides a showcase of old and modified bikes. Hero MotoCorp, Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki and Honda had taken up special booths to display their motorcycles.
In a stunt zone, experts performed supercars drift and stunts like wheelies and stoppies.
“This year has been absolutely special and surprising for the love we have received at Aamby Valley! I am so happy to see people biking in from Dharamshala to Cochin. The biking community in India is growing stronger with every season," said Festival Director of India Bike Week, Martin Da Costa.
