As per media reports, NODWIN Gaming, a player in South Asia's esports and gaming sector, has successfully procured Comic Con India, a firm recognised for organising various pop cultural festivals in the country. This strategic acquisition not only brings diversification to NODWIN Gaming's portfolio but also signifies a notable expansion within the global entertainment landscape.
Under the terms of the acquisition, NODWIN Gaming will obtain 100 per cent ownership of Comic Con India by purchasing its shares at a valuation of Rs 55 Crore. The transaction will involve a combination of cash and a share swap from Comic Con India's founders, Jatin Varma and Karan Kalra. Additionally, the managing team of Comic Con India will transition into becoming shareholders through the exchange of 27.5 crores of their company shares for NODWIN shares.
