It’s Homecoming For Elliott Hill At Nike; To Replace John Donahoe

Hill flagged off his career in 1988 with the brand and retired in 2020; he is joining back on 14 October, 2024, as per media reports

Former Nike hand, Elliott Hill, is returning to the company for his second stint as the new CEO and President. Joining back on 14 October, 2024, he will be stepping into the role that John Donahoe will vacate. 

As per media reports, in his new position, Hill’s responsibility will be to boost brand sales and consumer appeal, which according to numbers, have been moving downhill. 

Hill kicked off his career as an intern with Nike in 1988. He climbed the rungs, transitioned into numerous roles, and retired from the company in 2020. “Nike has always been a core part of who I am, and I’m ready to help lead it to an even brighter future. For 32 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with the best in the industry, helping to shape our company into the magical place it is today,” Hill said in a statement, as per the report.
