Event Experts' Most Popular 2024 Resolutions

As we embark on a new year, the dynamic landscape of the event industry is met with enthusiasm and strategic resolutions. 

In this unfolding chapter of 2024, event professionals and businesses are setting their sights on a spectrum of ambitious New Year's resolutions. These resolutions not only mirror the changing expectations of attendees but also respond to the evolving global context, shaped in no small part by the challenges and opportunities of the recent past.

“We have two event agency brands- Millennium Event and Marriageuana Weddings - for both of these we wish to make serious efforts to bring inbound corporate and social events into India aligning with national goals”, says Pramod Lunawat, Founder and CEO, Milennium Event and Marriageuana.

He adds, “This is our 25th year running in the event business, we wish to take up some social responsibility seriously as we wish to give back to the community that has solely brought us here from scratch to success”.

Agile event planning becomes imperative, acknowledging the uncertainties of the current landscape and the need for flexibility.

”My professional goal for this year will be the same it has been for the past ten years. It’s to approach every event by the vision of my client”, says Sahibjeet Kaur, Anchor, Emcee, Public Speaker.

She adds, “My mother says that you might be working 15 or 20 days a month, you might be getting onto the stage every second day, but you must understand that your clients might be doing this once or twice a year. So, they are putting a lot of effort and resources into it, somebody is putting a lot of faith in you.”

Highlighting her driving force, she acknowledges that first and foremost she respresents the client. 

She says, “That is what I like to keep in the back of my mind every time I'm getting onto the stage. It is about me showcasing my talent, of course, but also to portray and to represent what I am supposed to. Just giving my 100 per cent to anything and everything, no matter the number of people, no matter the brand.”

Amidst these resolutions, a commitment to fostering innovation permeates the industry. From experimenting with event formats to exploring unconventional venues, event professionals aim to stay at the forefront of trends, ensuring that 2024 becomes a transformative year.
