Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication Announces The 2nd edition of ‘Media Chaupal’

Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) is pleased to announce the 2nd edition of its flagship event ‘Media Chaupal’ that will be held on 30th January, 2019 at Apeejay Dwarka Campus. Media Chaupal aims at providing college students an open forum to discuss and gain insight into various media fields like Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Event Management and Social Media. Faculties and students from various colleges across Delhi NCR will witness open discussions on the evolution of storytelling as the most powerful tool in the communications industry. Media stalwarts and experts will hold discussions on the topics 'The Art of Storytelling - Making Communication Engaging' and 'Storytelling - A new form of Journalism' and attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with them.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, AIMC said, “The aim of ‘Media Chaupal’ is to introduce the faculty and students to various challenges facing the media and entertainment industry and also provide a platform for students to showcase their talent in areas of their interest.’’

Various media related competitions like RJ Hunt, Scavenger Hunt, 2 Minutes, Media Quiz are being held and exciting prizes along with certificates will be awarded to the winners. College students from all round Delhi-NCR and IP affiliated colleges are expected to attend the event and make it a success.
