Anil Kapoor celebrates his birthday with 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' star cast

Anil Kapoor is celebrating his 64th birthday today. The actor, who redefines fitness, continues to rule Bollywood in author-backed roles. The actor known for his unbelievably young looks made his debut in the film industry via Telugu and Kannada films in the 1980s. He went on to receive international recognition as he starred in Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire and Tom Cruise starrer Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. 

Kapoor is currently in Chandigarh where he is shooting the Raj Mehta directorial- Jug Jug Jeeyo. The videos and photos from the birthday bash have gone viral on the internet. It includes Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan and YouTuber Prajakta Kohli.

Taking to Instagram, his daughter Sonam Kapoor shared a stylish picture of the two of them together, and wrote, “Happy happy birthday daddy... you’re the most positive, kind, liberal human being, and we are blessed to have your values instilled in us. I miss you so much and I can’t wait to see you in the new year. @anilskapoor.” 

Anil was thrown a small party on the sets of his upcoming film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which he’s currently working on. His co-stars, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Koli took to Instagram stories to share a short video of the actor cutting his birthday cake. He was joined in the celebrations with co-stars Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor, and his wife, Sunita.

Sharing the picture on Twitter, Varun also penned a sweet note for the ‘Jhakaas’ actor. VD wrote, “Happy birthday @AnilKapoor. U are the youngest member of the #jugjuggjiyo family. The hardest worker in the room and the best at his craft.”
