Yas Island Offers Unique Football Fan Zone & Screening Experiences For The Highly Anticipated Global Sporting Event

Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s leading leisure and entertainment hub, is set to launch unique fan zone and screening experiences as well as a series of concerts for football enthusiasts to watch and celebrate the international football event taking place in Qatar, starting November 20th.

Fans will be able to cheer on their favorite teams at key locations across the destination, including at Yas Links Abu Dhabi hosting Abu Dhabi Fanzone – Football Viewing Experience, with the largest outdoor screen in Abu Dhabi, Yas Bay Waterfront, Yas Mall and at several of the world-class hotels such as W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island, The WB™ Abu Dhabi and Yas Plaza Hotels.

Football enthusiasts can take part in numerous activations, concerts, and an e-gaming zone. Several food trucks will offer a selection of refreshments and bites throughout the games. Pre-bookings to watch the games are required.

Dining venues across Yas Bay Waterfront will be screening the games live alongside a selection of delectable offerings, including Bushra by Buddha Bar, Siddharta by Buddha Bar, The Lighthouse and La Carnita. In addition, outdoor seating and viewing opportunity with a massive display will be available on Yas Bay Waterfront’s three-kilometer Boardwalk, Pier71.

Café Del Mar will set the scene with a grand fan zone with a massive display in an al fresco setting by the beach.

Several football activities, competitions and more will take place at Yas Mall’s dedicated fan zone in Sports Boulevard for fans to show off their football skills and celebrate the highly anticipated global football spectacle, taking place in Qatar this year. From competitions to see who can score the most goals to guessing the winning team, sports enthusiasts and families alike are in for a treat.

Indoor and outdoor venues across Yas Plaza Hotels will be screening live games on large HD display for fans to gather and watch as well as enjoy special offers on food and beverages and enter daily raffles to win prizes worth over AED 500.

Venues across Yas Marina will be screening live football action coupled with dining offers for fans to enjoy as they cheer for their favorite teams at Bouroughs, Stars n Bars and Iris.
