Tushar Dhingra joins SMAAASH as new CEO
Dhingra will be responsible for contributing to SMAAASH’s overall strategy and expansion plans with the core objective of pioneering technology development and raising profitability across its centers.
He joins from iTV Network, one of India's growing news network. Prior to that, he was a partner at the world’s leading executive search firm, DHR International. He was also instrumental in building and running Reliance Big Cinemas as their Chief Operating officer into a retail entertainment business of great repute and scale. Big Cinemas was named Retailer of the Year in Entertainment at the India Retail Summit and won the Most Admired Retailer - Entertainment Award at the Images Retail Awards in 2006, 2007 & 2009, Exhibitor of the year in Asia by Hollywood reporter in 2008, Most admired innovative concept of the year, IRF in 2009 for Cine Diner, Retailer of the year (leisure & entertainment) award and Reid Tailor Award for Retail Excellence in 2007 during Tushar’s tenure. Tushar has also been the brand Architect for PVR Cinemas and also was instrumental in gaining a leadership role in Cinema Adverting Industry in India. Earlier in his career, he established the much-accomplished concierge service for Taj Group, and was touted to be one of the first and the youngest to adorn golden keys in India.

Tushar is a Bachelor in Arts, Hospitality Management and also has a Post Graduate degree in Management from IMT Ghaziabad.
