Tata replaces Standard Chartered as title sponsor of Mumbai Marathon after 14 years

The Tata Group has been a long-time sponsor of the largest marathon in the world- New York City Marathon and also the Amsterdam Marathon.

The title sponsorship of Mumbai Marathon was with Standard Chartered since the inception of the race 14 years ago. Marking its 15th edition this year the Mumbai Marathon will now be synonymous with the Tata Group, as was announced in a press conference held in Mumbai yesterday.

Mumbai Marathon is the intellectual property of Procam International Pvt. Ltd., a Mumbai-based sports event management company. The company also owns other marathon racing events in India such as the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon, Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bangalore, and Tata Steel Kolkata 25K.
