Sunburn, Asia’s premier EDM festival unveils its 18th edition, Sunburn Goa 2024. Set for December 28-30, 2024, in South Goa, this three-day event promises an unparalleled fusion of music, fashion, food and culture, continuing its legacy of redefining year-end celebrations and setting new benchmarks in live music experiences.
The festival theme this year will delve into the mystical and wondrous depths of the underwater world, blending surreal elements with Sunburn’s signature vibrant energy. Celebrating the festival’s vibrancy and the captivating beauty of the ocean, the visual identity will reflect the surreal essence of the underwater realm. Inspired by the luminous colours and mysterious creatures of the sea, Sunburn Goa 2024 will take attendees on a fantastical journey of music, dance, and wonder. The venue will transform into a vivid wonderland, inspired by the seabed's organic forms, offering discoveries at every corner. The fusion of incredible visuals and electrifying performances will create a fully immersive 360-degree experience, turning the physical space into a magical realm of music and imagination.

This year's festival will take place in the idyllic setting of South Goa, offering an enhanced experience aligned with Sunburn's future vision. The new location provides improved infrastructure, natural scenery and reduced congestion, making it the perfect getaway for global music enthusiasts. This move also addresses past issues such as traffic, ingress and egress and parking.
Additionally, Sunburn is reintroducing a campsite, allowing attendees to camp on the festival grounds and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere with fellow fans.

To instill environmental responsibility among the youth, Sunburn is releasing an eco-friendly campaign, 'Leave No Trace'. Embracing the principles of 'Recycle, Reuse and Restore', the campaign will encourage fans to celebrate music in an eco-friendly manner. The initiative highlights Sunburn's commitment to environmental sustainability and aims to leave the festival grounds as pristine as they were found. The festival urges all Sunburn enthusiasts, attendees and volunteers to join this movement to protect and preserve our planet, ensuring future generations can continue to enjoy the festival's beauty and vibrancy. Recycling stations for plastic, glass and other materials will be strategically placed throughout the venue, with thorough daily clean-ups conducted from December 27 to 31, 2024 to restore the space to its original state. Aiming for 100 per cent environmental responsibility, 'Leave No Trace' will engage Sunburn's free-spirited youthful fans, making it one of the most eco-friendly festivals in Asia.
Highlights of Sunburn Goa 2024 include electrifying performances by over 150 international and Indian artists across seven stages. Attendees can explore pop-up fashion stores showcasing cutting-edge designs that blend everyday wear with surreal underwater-inspired fashion. A curated food village will offer a fusion of local and international cuisines. The festival's celebration of culture continues with interactive art installations, immersive experiences and adventure zones, all centred around the underwater theme. Sunburn Goa 2024 will feature top-tier EDM artists from around the world, jaw-dropping visuals, cutting-edge technology and a plethora of exhilarating experiences.
