Coldplay Makes A Comeback To India

The British band will kick off their ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ with a concert at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on 18 January, 2025 expected to draw a crowd of nearly 50,000. This will be followed by performances from 19 – 21 January, 2025 at the same venue, and two more shows on 25 and 26 January, 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Ed Sheeran Returns to delight India
After a sold-out concert in Mumbai last March, English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, famous for hits like ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Thinking Out Loud’, is returning to India with his ‘Mathematics Tour’. Sharing his excitement on Instagram, Sheeran wrote, “Coming back to India for my biggest ever tour of your beautiful country. What a way to start 2025, can’t wait to see you all there.” The tour will cover six cities—Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Shillong, Delhi, and Hyderabad—starting 30 January, 2025.
AR Rahman Returns to Mumbai After 5 Years
Academy Award-winning musician AR Rahman is set to honour his late mentor, Hindustani classical legend Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, with a special tribute concert titled ‘Haazri’. Scheduled for 17 January, 2025 at Jio World Garden in BKC, Mumbai, the event will feature Rahman performing Sufi compositions from his extensive repertoire. This marks Rahman’s first ticketed concert in Mumbai in five years.
Fourth Grammy for Ricky Kej?
After winning three Grammy Awards in 2015, 2022, and 2023, musician Ricky Kej is in contention for his fourth. His album ‘Break of Dawn’ has been nominated in the ‘Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album’, category at the 67th Grammy Awards. Known for chart-topping hits like ‘Señorita’ and ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back’, Mendes will take the stage at Mumbai’s Mahalakshmi Race Course on 8 March, 2025. Expressing his excitement on Instagram, Mendes wrote, “Truly there is nothing holding us back when we tell you how excited we are to have pop virtuoso, Shawn Mendes, headlining at Lolla India 2025! Holi with Martin Garrix
World-renowned DJ and music producer Martin Garrix will light up Holi celebrations on 14 March, 2025 with a massive concert at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Touted as the world’s biggest Holi concert, the event is expected to draw over 45,000 attendees for an unforgettable experience. Sharing his zeal on performing in India, Garrix mentioned, “Performing in India has always been an incredible experience for me.
