Spaceman Spirits Lab Unveils Premium Craft Rum ‘Sitara’

Spaceman Spirits Lab (SSLPL) unveiled its foray into the craft rum segment with the launch of its latest offering, Sitara. As part of its first collection under the rum series, ‘The Maiden Voyage’, the company has unveiled two premium rum variants that have been distilled on the tropical shores of the Indian Peninsula.

The first offering is the Sitara Barrel Aged White Rum which is a blend of column and pot distilled Indian rums that are aged in Virgin American Oak barrels and then charcoal filtered.

The second release is the Sitara Botanical Spiced Rum which is also a blend of column and pot-distilled Indian rums. However, this variant is aged for a slightly longer duration and then infused with seven handpicked botanicals to create a spiced rum. These botanicals include Cinnamon, Ginger, Orange, Hibiscus, Vanilla, Coffee and Cacao Beans.

Commenting on the launch, Aditya Aggarwal, Founder and Managing Director, Spaceman Spirits Lab said, “After successfully establishing brand Samsāra in the Craft Gin space, we are now excited to debut our premium hand-crafted rum SĪTÄRĀ. With this entry into the Craft Rum segment, we aim to become a leading player in the Indian Craft Spirits industry.”

The Sitara Barrel Aged White Rum and Botanical Spiced Rum have been made available in Goa. This will be followed shortly by other prominent markets in the country.

“Post this launch, we also plan to add premium vodka and tequila offerings to our portfolio as well”, Aggarwal added.
