Riot Games Makes Its First Appearance At India’s Biggest Gaming Event In 2023

Riot Games announced that it is all set to make its debut at the India Gaming Show, India’s biggest gaming-themed exhibition, this February. Following the success of Riot’s first desi VALORANT agent Harbor, the company is hosting exciting on-ground events and experiences at the India Gaming Show stage in Delhi. It started on 16th February 2023 and will continue until 18th Feb 2023 - further highlighting Riot’s commitment to the booming gaming culture in India.
The Riot Games venue at the India Gaming Show will offer attendees an immersive experience into the VALORANT universe - exhibiting a photo arena featuring VALORANT’s most iconic map sites and Harbor’s jewels. The fun doesn't end there, as fans will also be able to roleplay as their favorite agents in a live ‘Defuse the Spike’ game and execute their favorite site rush in the NERF Shooting Zone - with the best players taking home an array of VALORANT prizes.
“We are thrilled to be a part of India’s largest gaming convention, which is returning offline for the first time post-pandemic. With thousands of gamers and gaming enthusiasts expected at the India Gaming Show, we aim to deliver memorable experiences to our players, fans, and the larger Indian gaming audience. Given the growing popularity of Harbor, VALORANT'S first Indian agent, and Lotus, a map based on an Indian theme, we are excited to showcase an immersive experience at the event, to connect with the Indian esports community in person, and to show our appreciation for their support over the years.” said Ashish Gupta, Marketing Lead, India & South Asia for Riot Games
The India Gaming Show is India’s largest gaming convention, receiving thousands of attendees every year. It is returning offline this February, for the first time since 2019.
