Social Media Icons (SMI), a brainchild of Prius Brand & Business Partners, has been active in the promotion of influencers and bloggers. It recently organised the second edition of its initiative- Social Media Icons Conclave and Awards 2024. Its North edition took place at The Park in New Delhi.
Nearly 1,000 influencers from several different segments with their reach going up to millions were involved as part of the event. The Social Media Icons 2024 Awards recognised the influential trailblazers who have shaped the modern digital landscape and made a huge impact on society. The awards were presented to 35 prominent influencers from a diverse array of categories, including fashion, fitness, health & wellness, food bloggers, travel, lifestyle influencers, luxury, and beauty, among others.
The event also aimed to recognise unsung heroes and celebrate their success. In an era where social media dominates brand endorsements and content creation, Social Media Icons acknowledge the pivotal role played by influencers. The awards event is an ode to these heroes, who create meaningful engagements, foster societal change, and inspire innovation. It's a celebration of their tireless efforts and a platform to showcase their exceptional work.

At the conclave, influencers, awardees, and experts of the field deliberated on ‘How does Social Media Affects Society?’ and panellists included Baldev Raj, Founder and Chief of Prius Brand & Business Partners and the Creator of SMI; Gaurav Wassan, food/travel/lifestyle influencer and TEDx speaker; Bhumika Bahl, Make Educator and TEDx speaker; Namit Chawla, life and relationship coach, and Sagorika Bhattacharya, Head of IP’s - GM Creative Services at a leading TV Channel. The experts and influencers spoke on the impact of social media on societal trends and social issues, the growth of the influencer market, public relations agencies, the role of AI-driven content, and various other dimensions of social media.
