Posterscope India Crafts Ganesh Idol From Havells Wires; Unfurls ‘Safety Cha Deva' Campaign

The campaign promotes the brand's safe electrical products through innovative outdoor advertising, ensuring homes remain protected from fire hazards

Ganesh Chaturthi, one of India’s most cherished festivals celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, is a time for devotion, light, and celebration. As we welcome him into our homes, Havells ensures every decoration shines worry-free, allowing us to focus on the joy of the festival.

In collaboration with Posterscope India, the Out-of-Home (OOH) specialist agency from dentsu India, Havells Wires has launched the ‘Safety Cha Deva' campaign. The campaign promotes the brand's safe electrical products through innovative outdoor advertising, ensuring homes remain protected from fire hazards.

A standout feature of the campaign is an eye-catching Ganesh idol crafted entirely from Havells Wires, conceptualised and executed by Posterscope. This sculpture, prominently displayed on large billboards, elevates the traditional celebration with modern technology, reflecting the intricate details and vibrant spirit of Ganesh Utsav while showcasing the versatility and quality of Havells’ wiring products. This clutter-breaking innovation is turning heads across the city.

Running for 30 days from September to October, the campaign combines static billboards with creative installations to drive awareness and consideration. Strategic placements have been selected across Mumbai and Pune, including key junctions and high-traffic areas such as Siddhivinayak Temple and popular beaches like Juhu, which see significant footfall during the Visarjan. The campaign's creative execution emphasises Havells as a safety expert, symbolised by the protective nature of Lord Ganesha.

Talking about the latest festive campaign, Rohit Kapoor, Executive Vice President - Marketing, Havells India commented, “Ganesh Chaturthi is a time when homes across Maharashtra come alive with lights and celebration. With our ‘Safety Cha Deva’ campaign, we're not just participating in the festivities; we're reinforcing our promise of safety. Just as Lord Ganesha is revered as the remover of obstacles, Havells Flame Retardant wires act as silent guardians, ensuring that homes remain protected from electrical hazards during this joyous time. Join us in celebrating the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi.”

Imtiyaz Vilatra, Managing Director, Posterscope India said, “This campaign beautifully blends innovation with cultural relevance. By tapping into the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, we effectively communicated Havells’ safety message in a way that resonates with the local audience.”

Through this campaign, Havells continues to uphold its brand promise of safety, ensuring every home enjoys a safe and joyful festival season.
