Recently EEMA organised a virtual event WE CARE to address the issues like sexual harassment at workplaces, inclusiveness and equitable opportunity for all regardless of gender and sexual orientation.
In his address at the event, President of EEMA Samit Garg said, “As an industry, we have a responsibility to address these issues, to create a workplace that is safe and equitable for all.”
On the initiative of WE CARE, Garg said, “We are set to re-calibrate WE CARE with a new logo and a new theme. This effort of recalibration reflects our commitment to refreshing and revitalising our efforts to address these crucial issues”.
He urged participants to support the initiative wholeheartedly in order to make a positive change and create a workplace free of discrimination, harassment and stigma to generate value and respect for one and all.
WE CARE took centerstage as the Mentor body comprising the President and former presidents showed their support with their presence on the panel. The panel comprised Samit Garg, Brian Tellis, Sabbas Joseph, Sanjoy Roy, Roshan Abbas. It was a heartwarming moment to capture all the stalwarts who have contributed as Presidents of EEMA for over a decade in one frame.
