New Book Explores 'Gardens of Delhi': A Celebration of Urban Green Spaces

Niyogi Books recently launched its latest publication, "Gardens of Delhi" by Swapna and Madhulika Liddle, at the Kamaladevi Complex, Seminar Halls I, II & III, India International Centre in New Delhi on Thursday, 23rd May 2024, at 6:30 pm. The book, adorned with captivating images by eminent photographer Prabhas Roy, was introduced by eminent filmmaker, environmentalist, and author, Pradip Krishen, alongside historian, nature enthusiast, and author, Bharati Jagannathan.

"Gardens of Delhi" is not just a collection of picturesque photographs but a comprehensive exploration of Delhi's green havens, offering readers insights into their rich histories, diverse flora, and the challenges of preserving them amidst urbanization. Co-authors Swapna and Madhulika Liddle expressed their hopes that the book would transform readers' perceptions of Delhi's gardens, enticing both frequent visitors and armchair travellers alike.
