LXL Ideas, formerly Edumedia, bags two awards at 64th National Film Awards

The films are produced by Syed Sultan Ahmed, Founder of LXL Ideas. Sultan is an advisor to CIET-NCERT and member of the FICCI School Education Committee. Sultan also serves as an advisor to several children’s brands & educational institutions globally on issues related to psychosocial development of teenagers.

Syed Sultan Ahmed, Founder LXL Ideas, said ‘I am thrilled that our films have yet again been recognized by the Directorate of Film Festivals. At LXL Ideas, we constantly strive to positively impact the lives of students, so they grow up to be holistic individuals. Imparting life skills is very critical to a child’s development, and we want to make it an entertaining experience through meaningful cinema. The dedicated audience we have for our films is testimony to the need for such programs in today’s world.”

School Cinema is a film-based module that makes learning lessons of life an entertaining experience. It reaffirms life skills & values for students, parents and educators through award-winning films and engaging activities. Currently, School Cinema touches almost a million students across India through its 120 plus films. The films have been screened at over 130 film festivals across the world, winning several international awards. Four other films produced by School Cinema have won National Awards in the past – The Finish Line in 2011 (Best Film on Sports), Red Building where the Sun Sets in 2011 (Best Film on Family Values), Chasing The Rainbow in 2013 (Best Promotional Film) and Best Friends Forever in 2015 (Best Film on Family Values).
