Lulu Family Hosts Opulent Four-Day Wedding Celebration In UAE
During the weekend in Abu Dhabi, citizens of the UAE saw an opulent ceremony and one of the greatest wedding festivities of the year- A big fat Indian wedding.
Leading entrepreneur and Managing Director of Lulu group MA Yusuff Ali's niece Dr Fahima Ashraf Ali, got married in a ceremony held at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The bride's father Ashraf Ali MA, is MA Yusuff Ali's younger brother. Minister of State for Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan graced the wedding festivities. Malayalam actors Mammootty, Mohanlal, Tovino Thomas, Kunjacko Boban, Asif Ali, Jayaram Dileep, Kavya Madhavan and Aparna Balamurali were some of the names on the star-studded guest list that included more than 1,000 people. Several business and community leaders were also in attendance.
As per reports, the wedding was elegantly lit by spectacular pendants and chandeliers, and the ceiling was covered with intricate floral arrangements. The delicacy that the food offered was delivered on trolleys to each table while the guests were seated. The couple's initials were displayed in an arrangement of flowers and on a swing at the event, giving attendees a photo opportunity. Making the wedding very social media friendly in terms of its aesthetics.
The four-day wedding celebration came to a close with the performance of extravagant and eye pleasing dances by Dr. Fahima's friends and families. Mirror work was used as a theme to decorate the day of the mehendi. Whereas, blue served as the theme for the special sangeet night, in which Dr. Fahima was spotted wearing a lovely light blue lehenga with mirrorwork. The night was later enhanced and graced by an all-night performance by the musician Stebin Ben.
