Kokuyo Camlin partners University Guidance Conference organized by Univariety

Participating in the event, Kokuyo Camlin, deliberated on `Making Learning Fun – The Camlin Philosophy’.  Saumitra Prasad, Chief Marketing Officer, spoke about how Kokuyo Camlin has always be in the forefront of making learning fun for school children and  how Kokuyo Camlin have propagated this philosophy through various events and activities with school children and educationists.

Saumitra Prasad said, “It was a great experience to partner with University Guidance Conference and deliberate on Kokuyo Camlin’s philosophy of 'Making Learning Fun'. This conference gave us an opportunity to connect with educationists from different universities, well reputed schools and other delegates in the same space. As one of the oldest stationery brands, we hope to thrive on our philosophy and continue to innovate for our target segment.”

Kokuyo Camlin has in the recent past launched many innovative products considering the needs of the consumers. Lack of time was making liquid colour students reduce consumption, hence Camlin launched a product called Brush Pen which combined water colour, palette, brush and water bowl into one stick and made it convenient for children to do water colour. Similarly fulfilling the needs of kids who would love to colour anywhere including surfaces like walls, Camlin launched a product called Washable Crayon which the kids can use on walls and it washable.

Kokuyo Camlin has also organized many activities with school children to drive the philosophy of making learning fun like Camel Art Contest, World’s Longest Canvass, Tree Plantation Drives, and many more.

Kokuyo Camlin also launched the Camlin Art and Craft and Painting Studio at KidZania in Mumbai and Noida so kids can try their talent in learning to do fun things like cloth bags painting, designing and personalizing notebook covers and creating wall hangings using geometric figures, etc.

The panelist touched upon several topics in the two day conference on topics ranging from studying abroad, to valuable insights on Admission, equipping students to global perspective on education.  Several important aspects were deliberated including areas such as Fashion Education, Hospitality, and Experiential Learning. Imperative insights on seeking admission abroad and various other perspectives was an eye-opener for the participants attending the event. The conference was well attended by leading international schools from across the country and other stakeholders, educationists and delegates of universities across the globe.
