Mumbai came alive with excitement on 21 and 22 December, 2024, as Punjabi music icon Karan Aujla's ‘It Was All a Dream’ India Tour rocked the MMRDA Grounds, delivering two unforgettable nights to over 38,000 fans.
Organised by Team Innovation and supported by Live Nation, the concert boasted a star-studded lineup, including surprise appearances by Bollywood’s Vicky Kaushal, Parineeti Chopra, and the international dance crew Quick Style.
On 21 December, 2024 Aujla lit up the stage with hit songs like ‘Softly’, ‘52 Bars’, ‘Winning Speech’, and ‘Kala Chasma’. The energy reached its peak when Kaushal joined Aujla for a performance of their hit ‘Tauba Tauba’, with Kaushal praising Aujla as a star and celebrating his remarkable journey. Chopra also made a brief but memorable appearance, performing ‘Phela Lalkare’ from ‘Chamkeela’.
The excitement continued on 22 December, 2024 as the second night of the concert brought even more surprises, with rap legend DIVINE and Punjabi sensation AP Dhillon joining Aujla on stage. The crowd erupted with energy as the trio performed high-octane tracks like ‘Baazigar’, ‘100 Million’, and ‘Brown Munde’, creating an unforgettable cultural moment that highlighted music’s ability to unite.
Already breaking ticket sales records in Canada, the UK, and New Zealand, the ‘It Was All a Dream’ tour underscores Aujla's global mission to elevate modern Punjabi music on the world stage. With its blend of diverse musical styles and star-studded cameos, the tour has been a massive success, further solidifying Aujla’s position as a leading force in contemporary Punjabi music.
The concert was supported by brands including Xiaomi India Redmi, Royal Challenge American Pride, and Venkys.
