Insider.in and Airbnb collaborate to provide lodging solutions after event ticket purchase

Events ticketing platform Insider.in and global short-term lodging marketplace Airbnb, have associated to provide customers a unique solution. Fans of live events on Insider.in now will have easy access to booking accommodation near the venue of the event via an integration with Airbnb.
 
 The option to book accommodation is provided in an unobtrusive manner, after tickets to an event are purchased.

As several of Insider.in’s events happen outside the major cities, and as people increasingly travel from other cities to big-ticket events such as music concerts, comedy festivals, sports events such as the Indian Premier League and ISL (for which Insider.in was the official ticketing partner for select teams), this association will benefit fans by offering them an easy solution for accommodation.
 
 “Over the years, we’ve seen considerable interest in events - especially major ones - from people outside the city of the event. And as we go about aiming to make everything around an event great for the customer, an association with Airbnb made natural sense. An excellent example is the current edition of the Indian Premier League. We are ticketing matches for franchises DD (in Delhi) and Kings XI Punjab (in Mohali and Indore). For both teams, we have received considerable traffic from people outside the respective cities, and several of those fans even write to us asking if we can help provide accommodation”, said Shreyas Srinivasan, founder and CEO of Insider.in.
 
 Another example the company cites is the country’s largest music festival, Bacardi NH7 Weekender, whose flagship events happen in Pune and Shillong; with several other editions (including one-day Express Editions) in other cities all over India. “From the moment dates are announced, we have festival attendees looking for stay options in the city. Letting fans seamlessly book an accommodation of not only their choice and budget, but also one that adds to their experience  - for which Airbnb has unparalleled choice - is the next logical step”, added Srinivasan.

 Fans can see the feature after purchase of any event on Insider.in, on successful transaction. A box in signature pink with “Need a place to stay?” allows ticket buyers to search for accommodation near the venue of the event, following which they will be taken to the Airbnb website to complete the transaction.
