Since 25th March 2020 , the world has been turned upside down.

This was the day, when for the first time in human history every single business considered a non-essential came to a halt.

Unfortunately, events fell in that category as well. Accompanied by aviation, tourism and Hospitality.

But soon after the restless breed of event planners saw a stream of opportunity and clients complied with the new experiment of the Virtual platform.

Zoom from home setups became the new stage, tech teams the new production department and Anchors became Virtual Hosts.

I am delighted to share with you my 5 unique experiences of hosting 5 different types of Virtual events.

EDUTAINMENT SHOW LIVE 2020

Everyone who is anyone in the Event space knows very well about this IP of EVENT CAPITAL.

Edutainment has been around for years and on its 8th edition the team adapted quickly and took it live on FB and YouTube. The Marathon went on for 10 days and I was part of the Finale.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY WITH GOVINDA ON GUJARAT TOURISM PAGE

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, actor Govinda shared various aspects of a Healthy lifestyle and his experience of Gujarat as a destination live on Gujarat Tourism Facebook page.

This was put together by True Events.

He shared with us his connection with the Somnath Temple in Gujarat, his foodie habits that took him to the famous Manek Chowk in Ahmedabad and much more.

25th ANNIVERSARY, SANGEET AND WEDDING

I curated and conducted a Virtual games evening for a silver jubilee couple and their relatives, with the help of Team Playace.

The other Big Family Virtual Event was the Kyal wedding. Managed by Mint Green Events.

I was roped in for the Sangeet - Family games and Wedding day - taking through the live streaming, engaging the audience through virtual interaction, and introducing pre-recorded family performances from time to time was part of the agenda.

TICKETED VIRTUAL CONCERT

This one was with Purple Event and Celebrated Singer Bishakh Jyoti for NRI audience in America. A theme based ticketed show that was streamed live from a studio with high end equipment and HD quality cameras.

The background and floor was setup like a stage. And the audience connected through a private FB group from the comfort of their homes in North America.

VEENA SAMRAJAYA LOTTERY

A real estate project that was launched physically in March and us a Public-Private partnership between Maharashtra Government and Veena Developers.

It's a special project created to provide affordable Housing to People under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna. It included interviews with the Veena Developers Chairman, MD and sales team along with the main highlight being the Mahada Lottery Announcement. Curated by Team Insomniacs.
