On 3 April 2024, the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) organised a ‘Stakeholders' Meet’ aimed at catalysing tourism development in Jammu and Kashmir. The event sought to uncover the unexplored tourism potential of the region while addressing infrastructure-related concerns.
By bringing together FHRAI leaders and stakeholders from the hospitality and tourism sectors, the gathering provided a networking platform to discuss investment opportunities and lay the groundwork for future collaborations.
Notable attendees included government officials, tourism experts and potential investors. FHRAI President, Pradeep Shetty, underscored the event's significance, highlighting its role in unlocking Jammu and Kashmir's tourism potential. The initiative aligns with FHRAI's vision to position Jammu and Kashmir as a premier tourism destination in India, fostering sustainable growth and development in the Union Territory.
