Emcee Pritee Kathpal Shares Her Experience Of Hosting Two Big Weddings In The Bahamas and Mexico

India is a country with exquisite beauty and culture. Although there are many choices for wedding locations in India, the millennial trend of destination weddings is gaining popularity, and we are all for it.

A destination wedding would be the ideal event that combines culture, customs, and liveliness, with breath-taking locations and stunning architectural wonders to pick from. It would undoubtedly make each of your wedding-related events a single experience that you and your guests would cherish forever.

Popular wedding anchor emcee Pritee Kathpal, who has hosted over 1500 weddings across 25+ countries, recently hosted grand weddings in the most exotic destination of the Bahamas and in Mexico.

Sharing her experience of hosting the Bahamas wedding, Kathpal said, “The Bahamas was a 5-day grand celebration at the beautiful Grand Hyatt with celebrities like Sukhbir, Akriti Kakkar, Dj Shadow, Anusha Mani, and various local artists. It was like waking up every day to the happy feeling that this place is heavenly, and yes, it's my job to bring smiles to the bride and groom and their families. It's also a huge responsibility to make their most important day full of fun and entertainment. Hosting a variety of functions in such a beautiful location was like a dream.”

“Since it was a Sindhi wedding and the fact that I can speak Sindhi fluently, I'm glad to say I helped make it a special occasion. The audience, which included both Americans and Indians, enjoyed the festive Mehendi, sangeet, and other events”, she added.

When asked about the Mexico assignment, Kathpal shared, “I was hosting a Gujarati wedding in Mexico from May 19–22, 2022, with Gurdeep Mehendi, DJ Regge, and a number of regional Mexican entertainers at each event, was another life-altering experience. At the spectacular Riviera Maya resort in Cancun, the Ladkiwalas from Atlanta and the groomsmen from Tennessee celebrated their big day. Each event was exceptional & different. At every event, I serve as the sutradhaar, requesting everyone to participate in games at the pool party, applauding the family sangeet acts, and having everyone dance at the baraat. I felt like a family member during the 5 days of festivities and joy.”

“There is nothing like a big, fat Indian wedding, and destination weddings are very successful both in Asia and around the world”, she further added.
