AAP To Organise Sundarkand Events Across Delhi
Leading up to the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on 22 January, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is set to launch an extensive 'Sundarkand' program across all 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi.
AAP leader and Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj announced that Sundarkand recitation programs will occur at over 2,600 locations monthly, involving party MLAs, councillors, and office-bearers. Sundarkand, a chapter in the Ramcharitmanas epic dedicated to Lord Hanuman, will be organised citywide in a structured manner.
The BJP has also planned a series of events leading up to the ceremony, encouraging workers to participate in cleanliness activities around temples and decorating city markets and other spaces for the celebration on 22 January. Afterwards, arrangements will be made in various wards for the darshan of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.
