70 countries including India to participate in International Mice & Wedding Forum, Antalya
This forum presents a great opportunity for Turkey to increase and develop it’s share in tourism and its’s economy, while bringing all of the countries of the World together under the same roof for the first time.
The biggest players in the most important fields of world tourism, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Congress/Conferences and Events/Exhibitions) and Wedding planners will meet with over 450 agencies from 70 different countries, as well as with industry suppliers and managers from over 150 hotels and airlines, in the capital of tourism, Antalya.
Also this year Sabbas Joseph, founder of India's premier experiential agency Wizcraft International, will be an honorary guest and keynote speaker at the IMFW. Wizcraft is organizer of the popular IIFA Awards. The company has recently also been awarded the title of MICE Agency of the Year at BW Hotelier MICE Conclave 2018. Other delegates from India include some of the country's largest stakeholders from the MICE and wedding domain including Rajeev Jain, founder of Rashi Entertainment; Chetan Vohra, founder of WeddingLine; Niyati Vora, VP of Wizcraft; Vijay Arora, founder of Touchwood Events; Vijay Bokadia, founder of Moksh Events; Rishabh Bapna, founder of Cherry Tree and Aditya Motwane of Motwane Entertainment and Weddings, among others.
This forum will be attended by countries such as India, which has a 150 million dollar wedding industry, plus many others such as United States, Russia, England, Italy, France, Netherlands, Lebanon, Nigeria and China. It will be the first forum of it’s kind to bring together so many tourism regions of the world all in one place. The eyes of the World will be on Antalya. With the panels, forums and one on one interviews, which will be held throughout the forum, it will be a huge opportunity to show Turkey as a preferred destination in the Wedding & MICE industries, thus increasing its share in the industry.
The Governor of Antalya Münir Karaloğlu also supports IMWF 2018, which will be organized with the participation of 450 MICE and wedding tourism companies from 70 countries in Antalya. Within the scope of the program, a press organization consisting of foreign journalists, social media and bloggers will be held in cooperation with the West Mediterranean Development Agency of Turkey (BAKA) and IMWF to promote the potential of Antalya in the field of wedding tourism and MICE.
Necip Fuat Ersoy, International MICE & Wedding Forum (IMWF) Managing Partner, has assumed the IMWF's managerial responsibility. Necip Fuat Ersoy made a statement before the forum: ‘’The countdown has started for the third IMWF, which will be held this year. It will be the first time in the World a tourism meeting of such a great scale has taken place. The main players in tourism, who are driving the World tourism sector, and senior executives of very important companies will have an unforgettable 4 day experience in Antalya. IMWF, sponsored by Turkish Airlines and Titanic Hotels, will play a major role in promoting Antalya. Countries from all around the world who will participate in the forum will also experience a private night at Aspendos Antique Amphitheatre. They will experience the historical and cultural heritage of Antalya during a marvelous night at the 1800 year old ancient theatre.
The International MICE & Wedding Forum (IMWF) the heart of tourism will be at in Antalya between 28 May - 1 June.
