1.Delhi Half Marathon
The Telecommunications Company, Airtel, has been sponsoring the Delhi Half Marathon for the past nine years. In the last year though, Airtel had hinted that it would stop its association with the event if the authorities refuse to address the problem of pollution in the capital city. It is an annual half marathon foot-race held in New Delhi and was established in 2005. It is considered to be both an elite runner and mass participation event.
2.Olympic Games
The soft drink, Coca-Cola sponsored the 1928 Olympic Games and has supported every game since then. It also sponsored the FIFA World Cup in 1978 and was the official sponsors of the 1996 Cricket World Cup. Summer Olympic Games and Winter Olympic Games are held every four years. Originally, the ancient Olympic Games were held in Greece at Olympia. The modern Olympic Games or Olympics are leading international sports events in which thousands of athletes from around the world participate in a variety of competitions.
3.Beijing Music Festival (BMF)
The food company Nestle has been an extended sponsor of the Beijing Music Festival for 11 years since the year 2000. The agreement between the two was signed on August 5, 2010. Nestle has also partnered with the prestigious Salzburg Festival in Austria for 20 years. BMF is an annual music festival held in Beijing, China which has over the time become one of the most well-known musical events in the world, drawing international attention. It offers about 30 concerts in October every year.
4.Mumbai Marathon
The Financial Services Company, Standard Chartered, was the title sponsor of the Mumbai Marathon for long 14 years. Later in 2017, it got jointly sponsored by the Tata Group and Tata Consultancy Services for a period of 10 years. Mumbai Marathon is an annual international marathon which is held in Mumbai on the third Sunday of January every year and considered to be the largest marathon in Asia. It is said to be the richest race in the country with a prize pool of USD 405,000.
5.Zee Literature Fest:
Although Zee has only been associated for the last 3 to 4 years with the fest, they deserve a place on this list because no quantity of time makes up in quality of association. And in a short span of time, the literature fest has become synonymous with leading television network Zee, and also, the brand placement has been done in a very impactful way.
